Gaia visit to The Riverside.
Year 5 went to visit Gaia at The Riverside this morning. Gaia is a stunning replica of the planet Earth. The work, created by the artist Luke Jerram has arrived directly from the Congress Of Parties (COP) 26 in Glasgow. This huge work of art depicts the Earth revolving, which we have been discussing in our science topic in Year 5.
We had to vote on what we thought was the most important thing we could do to help our planet stay safe and secure for the future. We voted that reducing, reusing, and recycling was what we wanted to work on the most to help our futures.
