We are enjoying learning through our story of the week - the Gruffalo
Already this week we have read our focus story for the week - The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson. We have been completing lots of different activities in class surrounding our story, including making our own terrible Gruffalo faces and telling the story using shadow puppets.
We also went on a special gruffalo character hunt in our woodland area today. We looked for the characters in the story - the mouse, fox, snake, owl and the Gruffalo, and then sounded out and wrote about what we found.
